Glazing service

Triple Glazing

Premium triple glazed windows for maximum thermal and acoustic performance

Coverage: UK-wide
Warranty: 10 years insurance-backed
Accreditation: FENSA registered

Triple glazing uses three panes of glass with two insulating cavities to deliver U-values as low as 0.6 W/m²K — outperforming standard double glazing by up to 50%. Ideal for new-build homes, Passivhaus projects, and properties near airports, motorways and railway lines where extreme thermal or acoustic performance is required.

Why choose our triple glazing

  • U-values from 0.6 W/m²K — meets Passivhaus and Future Homes Standard
  • Up to 50% better thermal performance than standard double glazing
  • Superior acoustic insulation, blocking 38-44 dB of external noise
  • Eliminates cold spots, draughts and internal condensation
  • Suitable for uPVC, aluminium and timber frames

Our process

From survey to installation in 4 steps

01

Specification consultation

Our technical team helps you choose glass thickness, gas filling (argon or krypton), and warm-edge spacers based on your performance targets.

02

Survey & manufacture

Precise measurement at site, then made-to-measure manufacture using triple-sealed, gas-filled units from Pilkington or Saint-Gobain.

03

Installation by certified fitters

Triple glazed units are heavier and require specialist handling. Our FENSA-registered installers fit each unit with reinforced frames and structural sealants.

04

Performance certification

You receive U-value documentation, FENSA certificate and a 10-year warranty covering seal integrity and thermal performance.

FAQs

Triple Glazing questions, answered

Triple glazing typically costs 20-30% more than double glazing but reduces heat loss by an additional 30-50%. It pays back fastest in north-facing rooms, Passivhaus builds, and homes near airports or motorways.
Triple glazed units weigh roughly 50% more than double. Frames need to be reinforced and hinges/handles upgraded — all included in our installation.
Triple glazing with laminated acoustic panes reduces aircraft noise by 38-44 dB — typically bringing 80 dB jet noise down to a quiet 36-42 dB inside. For Heathrow, Gatwick or Manchester airport flight paths, we recommend our acoustic triple specification.
Existing frames are usually sized for double glazed units. We supply new reinforced frames designed for triple glazed sealed units — typically as a complete window replacement.
A standard 6-10 window installation takes 1-2 days depending on access. We protect floors, remove old frames and dispose of waste as part of the service.
