We photograph and document each window, identify the timber species and original joinery techniques, and produce a condition report listing required restoration work.
For Listed Buildings we prepare Listed Building Consent application drawings and specifications. For Conservation Area properties we liaise with conservation officers as required.
Sashes removed and taken to our heritage workshop. Repairs include scarfed-in timber sections, new sash cords and weights, lock servicing, and authentic micro-porous paint finish.
