Which postcodes qualify?
Our discount is based purely on postcode — not on any scheme eligibility. Tier 1 (15% off) covers TW6, TW5, TW7, TW3, UB7, UB3 and UB4 — the postcodes most affected by aircraft noise. Tier 2 (10% off) covers wider West London including TW1-TW14, UB1-UB11, SL3 and KT1-KT2. Tier 3 (5% off) covers the outer catchment — W3-W14 and parts of Surrey. What sound reduction can you expect?
Standard acoustic double glazing achieves Rw 38-42dB sound reduction. That converts an overhead jet (around 75-80dB inside a normal home) down to a distant background sound around 35-40dB — the level of a quiet library.
