Bristol Airport runs a Local Community Fund providing annual grants for noise mitigation. External acoustic consultants compile a list of eligible properties each year based on the previous summer's flight programme. Applications run on an annual cycle - 2025 applications are closed, with 2026 details published in early 2026. There's an interactive eligibility map on bristolairport.co.uk.
S&K Glazing is not an officially appointed installer for the Bristol Airport Noise Mitigation Grants — that scheme uses its own appointed installers. Our role is to help you in three ways: (1) free eligibility check — tell us your postcode and we'll confirm whether you fall inside the scheme boundary; (2) guidance on how to apply — we explain the application process, what documents you need, and what to expect; (3) private installation for work the scheme doesn't fund — properties outside the boundary, premium acoustic upgrades (Rw 48-52dB triple glazing) beyond the standard spec, non-habitable rooms the scheme excludes, and commercial premises. If you're eligible for funded works, we'll point you to the official route. If you're not — or you want better than the scheme provides — we're ready to quote.
Annually. 2025 applications are closed. 2026 dates published in early 2026 on bristolairport.co.uk.
